Gourangi Integration Server acts as the Service interface for Gourangi Enterprise Server. It houses all the Web services that provide all the valuable data required for evaluating the KPIs and triggering appropriate actions.

At its core it uses a SOAP stack which enables the Web Services and layer above is the Integration engine which uses our connector architecture to enable remote data access. The integration framework has been designed to facilitate extendibility and as required new connectors can be provisioned which will expose it as Web Services which can be consumed by an WS client across the Organization or beyond its boundaries.

Connectors

We all understand that every Organization consumes information as well as raw data from disparate sources. These sources could be a simple verbal communication, over the phone, a written note, a letter considering traditional ways of communication to more advanced forms such as emails, legacy applications, files, spread sheets to 4GL applications. No matter what form it is in the information is captured and is available in some electronic form. Gourangi DataAccess connectors enables you to fetch that data, convert it into Web Services and present it for consumption. This also enables your Organization to consume information is a standardized way, thus enabling uniformity, reusability, loose-coupling leading to an SOA environment.

Security

Making information available is one thing and allowing people to access them is a different ball-game. You would certainly not allow your customers to see your finance related data or your quotations? - Data over the net is unsecure and you would always want to see to it that no unauthorized person looks at your data. Well to make sure of that we provide you a security module based on Web Services Security standards. This will allow you to Encrypt and Sign your data as well as decrypt and verify the data using X509 certificates. It also will allow you to consume and provide messages using Basic Authentication as well as WSSE username tokens

Policies

Services once enabled need to be monitored, routed properly, enriched on the fly, deprecated. Gourangi's policy framework exactly allows you to do that.
